Cognitive Assessments identify the right abilities and potential
The ability to solve complex problems and use common sense are without a doubt critical for success. These abilities determine the fit of new hires. Cognitive Assessments are ideal to discover reasoning abilities and the information processing skills of a person.
The Thalento® Cognitive Assessments are composed of multiple-choice items that inventorise Abstract, Numerical and Verbal Reasoning.
All our Cognitive tests are developed by Thalento®.
All tests are UNIQUELY composed from a RANDOMISER database.
Can be equipped with a VALIDATE module, to ensure reliable remote results.
SCOPE-Test
Our SCOPE-Test inventorises the abstract reasoning ability and measures the ability to independently process information, develop underlying connections and detect logical patterns in basic to complex non-verbal and abstract data.
The SCOPE-Test has an excellent predictive value for activities that require analytical & pragmatic reasoning abilities, such as working with concepts and developing connections.
* The SCOPE-Test was introduced in 2008, the reviewed and re-validated SCOPE-Test was released in January 2018.
S-Test
The S-Test inventorises the numerical reasoning ability and measures the ability to process, understand and connect numerical data (inductive & deductive reasoning).
The result is a validated indication on how the participant understands mathematical relations and can manage data in an adequate way to create solutions. The S-Test has a solid predictive value for activities that require working with and understanding numbers and data.
*The test was introduced in 2008, the reviewed and re-validated S-Test was released in January 2018.
A-Test
The A-test maps the verbal reasoning ability of participants. The test measures the ability to process, understand and develop connections between verbal data; both inductive and deductive reasoning.
The result is a validated indication of the ability to work with verbal concepts as a component of general reasoning ability. This includes abstraction ability, constructive reasoning ability and the development of semantic relations.
*The test was introduced in 2008, the reviewed and re-validated A-test was released in January 2018.
RANDOMISER
All Thalento® Cognitive tests are composed out of a database of 400 items. This database is frequently updated with new and validated data-sets.
Our randomiser logarithm manages the composition of each test, considering the respondent's information and the available historical data. The randomiser is designed to minimise corrupted data or repetition of the same test sample.
VALIDATE
Our VALIDATE module allows the remote use of cognitive testing. The respondent re-takes a specific combination of the previously (non-controlled setting) completed cognitive tests. The re-test is composed from the completed scores and correlates a number of relevant parameters. The scores of both tests are compared and a probability score is generated.
Reports
Our Cognitive Reports provide a detailed overview of the collected data.
