Competencies made easy

 

The CUBES Competency Framework was launched in 2012. It is a complete Competency Management eco-system with a 360° and I-Rater Suite. The recent added Development Recommendations make CUBES the ideal solution for integrated Talent Management.

CUBES is fully adaptable. Create your own Competency Handbook. Design and adapt Clusters to fit your company needs or to integrate the competency framework you use today. Compose your specific set of competencies, complete them with levels or not, just build it the way you prefer. Even the competency descriptions are adaptable, and with the Profile Builder you can create, save and edit numerous competency profiles.

Integrated with our Assessments, Cubes generates detailed reports that include the related behavioural indicators. By adding an expectation level to a competency, you can match needs and results. Integrating TeamView enables you to generate team reports or compare new hires to an ideal competency profile.

Our CUBES Competency Framework consists of the following components:

 

1. CUBES Competency Model

Consists of 52 Competencies, each competency described in detail in 5 levels. Each competency (52) describes a specific professional functioning and is connected to measurable and observable behaviour. Our competencies are inventorised with the Thalento® Assessments.

2. Profile Builder

You can create competency profiles just the way you want. Create save and consult them by position or function title. Add an expectation level (Requirements) for easy, visual matching or development planning.

3. Assessments

Our Personality & Motivation QuestionnairesCognitive & Ability Tests are integrated with the CUBES Framework and deliver the validated basis for the detailed reports.

4. I-Rater

We developed I-Rater to evaluate those competencies that cannot be measured with our Thalento® Assessments; 14 of the 52 competencies. The I-Rater scores are clearly indicated in the Competency Report.

5. CUBES Report

An objective and qualified overview of the level of functioning and the behavioural style of the participant. The Report can match the Results with the Requirements and can be completed with TeamView.

6. Development Recommendations

We have added detailed Development Recommendation for each of the 5 levels. This allows employees to understand the effort they need to invest to develop their competencies to the required level.

A set of 52 cards is available as a practical assistant for introducing competencies in your organisation. They are ideal for interactive sessions on competency profiles.

Competency Report:

A clear one page summary with Results of the selected competencies, complete with all the essential information and if selected benchmarked with the Requirements.

A comprehensive description of every competency, completed with the preferred behavioural style matched to the level of functioning (if selected) and completed with a description of the typical approach, needs and expectations.
